e&o Athens Opens 18th October
Opening on the 18th October e&o Athens is a pan-Asian rooftop restaurant from Ricker Restaurants and Chandris Hotel.
e&o is one of London’s favourite pan-Asian restaurants. In October 2018 the Chandris family and Ricker Restaurants open e&o Athens on the rooftop of the Athens Marriott hotel. The emphasis is on using the best local produce to create an enticing blend of favourite dishes and flavours from China, Vietnam and Thailand. The rooftop also houses 2 martini bars, the pool, the ceviche counter and The Playroom, an area for games with friends, dancing, secret screenings and parties.
Food & Drink
The food is innovative and fresh, simple with complex flavour profiles. Market-fresh produce is crafted into dishes from around the world. Delicious food is served on one of the only panoramic rooftops in Athens with the sea and city as the dramatic backdrop. Menu highlights are oysters with yuzu jelly, duck watermelon and cashew salad, lobster noodles, king prawn tempura wrapped in hoba leaf, and crispy duck and pancakes, and to finish the meal – a lemongrass brulee or lychee granita. Drinks will be served at The Playroom martini bar, or the front cocktail bar – with a large selection of sake and award winning Japanese whiskeys.
Design
Wimberley interiors have designed the roof with a rough luxurious finish, using natural timber and stone with sculptural furniture. The roof features a swimming pool and playroom with table football, shuffleboard and a pool table, alongside a photo booth. The roof will also host DJ’s, and has a large screen for secret cinema pop ups and screenings. The pool area transforms at night to offer an unsurpassed dining experience under the stars.
